Sheldon Collins began his career in Hollywood as a screenwriter and director, creating films known for their compelling narratives and character-driven storytelling. His work has appeared on premium television and at major film festivals, earning critical praise and multiple awards. He brings that cinematic background to his debut novel, The Legend of Valentine, which has received widespread acclaim. Collins also produced and directed the enhanced audiobook—featuring 20 voice actors, full sound design, and an original musical score—which became a multi-category SOVAS® Voice Arts Awards nominee. He earned personal nominations for Best Director and Best Producer, with the production also honored for Best Sound Design and Best Actor (Performances). A graduate of UC Berkeley and the American Film Institute, Collins lives in California with his wife and daughter and draws creative inspiration from the outdoors.
