I believe it!” She was a Project Advisor –Diversity for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) Saturn Titan Mission while Executive Director of the National Resource Center for Racial Healing, has co-facilitated Healing Racism and Tribalism sessions in the United States, South Africa and Botswana, and held a conflict resolution seminar in China. She served as Board Chair for the International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit and U.S Immigration Services speaker and MC at Swearing-in Ceremonies for new Americans. Her unique blend of “high tech/high touch” is a key to success in culture change consulting as President of SeDA Consulting, LLC. She’s been interviewed by McNeil/Lehrer Newshour on Healing Racism, and appeared regularly on the PBS series Interfaith Odyssey. She has hosted a weekly syndicated radio show “A Safe Place to Talk about Race” on the VoiceAmerica network and wrote the anthology A Safe Place to Talk about Race – 10 Thought Provoking Interviews. The 2nd book of interviews is scheduled to be released in November 2020. Interests include family, volunteering, voracious reading, and blue water sailing.
