Sergi Bellver was born in Barcelona in 1971. A writer with a nomadic life for years, he has published the book of short stories 'Agua dura' (2013), the travel notebook 'Variaciones sobre Budapest' (2017), the collection of poems 'Gavia' (2019), the novel 'Del silencio '(2021) and the memoir-essay 'Blanco móvil' (2023). His short stories have appeared in a dozen anthologies in Spain and Latin America, among which are 'Sólo cuento IX' (2017) and 'El síndrome Wanderlust' (2020). He has written for media such as the 'Viajes National Geographic' magazine, and has worked as an editor, creative writing teacher, literary critic, cultural journalist, screenwriter and bookseller. He curated three collective books and has prefaced new translations to Spanish of works by Chekhov, Kafka and Dostoyevsky.
