Dr. Seamae “Mama-Doc” Erfani has been a pediatric medical doctor for over a quarter of a century. Her passions include promoting health and wellness by preventing illness, caring for children of all ages, and promoting children’s literacy. She greatly enjoys international travel, art, and time with family. In her spare time, she strives to fit in World Cup soccer matches, chase aurora borealis, stargaze, and volunteer in Mexico. In addition to being a children’s doctor, Dr. Erfani is also an accomplished visual artist and was a co-founder of a physician-owned art gallery in La Jolla, California, which displayed her work from 2024-2025. Sharing and appreciating the infinite love that surrounds and abounds is her daily mission. She primarily focuses on doctoring, writing, painting, and planning both adventures and purposeful passion projects, including Mama-Doc’s Guide to Preventing Teenage Depression, her first book.
