She is an adopter of 5 siblings, former Social Worker, former owner of 'Outstanding' Therapeutic fostering agency, and CEO of The Centre of Excellence in Child Trauma, founder of The National Association of Therapeutic Parents, (not for profit). Sarah now continues to oversee best practice in two therapeutic fostering companies. True Fostering in England, and Safer Fostering in Wales. Sarah is an international Keynote speaker and expert in the field of compassion fatigue and therapeutic parenting. Sarah is well known for writing succinct, practical often humerous and jargon free books to help foster parents, adopters and any other parent caring for a child who has suffered trauma.
