Sara-Malka/Diane Laderman is a Healer’s Healer & inventor of HolyLand (no sugar) Ice Cream Cakes. A Family Constellations facilitator, she created a powerful form of energetic Craniosacral Therapy. She is a former guide at the Temple Institute/Machon HaMikdash, graduate of Aryeh Routtenberg’s three-year Midgal Oz Jewish history-archeology Bet Sefer Sadeh course (L’Tayeil Im HaTanach), teacher at Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin, co-author & developmental editor for her mother Janet Aiken’s groundbreaking Nutritional Science: Concepts • Controversies • Therapies: A Holistic Health Perspective (nutrition textbook by body system), writer/editor for her brother Richard Aiken’s Practical Halacha website (5-year project to organize all of halacha, searchable online, & written clearly), creator of Jacob’s Ladder Farm hands-on Torah-Nature programs, & a former Maryland Science Center guide. A former Publications Department head, Mrs. Laderman is an award-winning science writer & editor (Society for Technical Communications award, APEX award, & Benjamin Fine Award for Outstanding Education Reporting) specializing in explaining difficult concepts for the layman; she also worked for W.B. Doner as an advertising copywriter trained by Doyle, Dane Bernbach instructors at the School of Visual Arts. She discovered that quinoa fulfilled the requirements for a kosher-for-Passover grain, alerted the Star-K, & now thousands of Jews eat this nutritious food each year instead of potatoes. A native of Baltimore, MD, she has a BA in Religion (minor, Biology) from Goucher College.
