Samuel Mok is a professional economist with more than 20 years of experience advising governments and multinational corporations on economic policy and major procurements. As a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), he has helped deliver billions of dollars’ worth of critical infrastructure across Canada and internationally.

After graduating from Queen’s University with a degree in Economics and Mathematics, he earned a master’s degree in economics from the University of Victoria. In 2026, he founded Major Crown Publishing, an imprint of Major Crown Projects, to provide a platform for extensively researched works examining some of the most pressing socioeconomic issues of our time.

In his first series, China’s Century of Humiliation, Mok examines the defining events that shaped modern China, helping Western readers understand the history that continues to shape China’s relationship with the world.
