I began my gaming career on a Macintosh Plus with a 40MB hard drive, enjoying such classics as Dark Castle and Lode Runner. It's amazing to see how far we've come since those heady days of floppy discs and 256 colours (if you had a fancy rig!). Outside of LitRPG I write under my (real) name, Sam Bowring, and have authored many books across different genres, as well as for TV, film, stage and games. I've also been a stand-up comedian for over 25 years, and live in Sydney, Australia.
