Samantha Darling writes romantic comedy, women’s fiction, Southern Gothic, and the occasional adventure story - usually featuring intelligent women navigating complicated lives with humor and determination. Her background is unusual. Raised between French theatrical culture and New York City, she later drifted through Los Angeles working with movie stars while training as an opera singer and screenwriter. After several years living in New Zealand, she eventually settled in a Canadian forest to raise her children and now lives in Montreal. Her novels blend romance, humor, sharp observation, and the unpredictable complications of modern life. More books are arriving soon.
