S.K. was born and raised in Texas. She currently lives north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area with her husband, Jack, a pampered Pomeranian, two Arabian horses, a dozen rescued felines and Pepe, the skunk, who appears to identify as a cat. She enjoys traveling and meeting people from all cultures and backgrounds discovering the world through their eyes and hearts. A storyteller since childhood, she created fictional worlds through her writing to escape when the realities of life became a bit too harsh. Now retired she has become serious about her writing and sharing her characters and stories with others. S.K. devotes her time to her family, rescue cats, reading, researching, and creating her favorite imaginary world of fictional historical romance characters.
