I am an addict! I have been hopelessly addicted to waterfowl hunting for over 50 years and I hope I get many more of those wonderful years. I have a granddaughter and grandson about to join our ranks and I can hardly wait to sit in the blind with them, frying taters and eggs and telling them stories about their Daddy and his hunting exploits as a youngster. I live near the South Platte River in western Nebraska with my bride of 47 years. A great deal of my book is based on my personal experiences; having haunted and hunted the famed Platte River since I was a teenager. A small portion of this book allows for a little "Kentucky Windage". Some folks say I'm pretty good at that..... but hey, what do they know???? Today there are many “how to” books written and a smaller number of books written that offer a good waterfowl hunting tale. I miss reading those books and so decided to write one.
