Growing up on the west side of Chicago could sometime get rough. I turned to art, humor and music as my get away. My brother and I, which was later joined by my younger brother, formed a singing group from 1964 until 1990. Recorded one demo. Worked the 'chitlin' circuit' on the west & south side most weekends. Then we later turned to Gospel! After the group disbanded, I attended the Art Institute of Chicago in 1977, later shifting over to Harold Washington and Malcolm X college, earning my associates degree in 2000 (Graduating that same year). Creating this book was fun & exciting! (I love creating those 12 colorful zodiac signs). When I'm not drawing or painting, I'm into my music. (That's my second love). Karaoke is my thing. I also have my own Youtube channel. You can always subscribe to hear your favorite oldie hits. When it comes to singing karaoke, California has many these type of bars in the area. If ever in the south bay area, come join me. (Maybe we can do a duet together).
