Rolando Asisten, Jr. is a math teacher who has taught in high school, college, and graduate school—both in the Philippines and the United States. He’s spent over two decades helping students overcome their fear of math and discover confidence in numbers. He’s also a caregiver, storyteller, and the author of several books, including The Power of Second, The Algebra Prophecy, Breaking the Algebra Phobia, They Saw What Others Couldn’t, and What Faith Looks Like. His writing blends real stories, faith, and everyday wisdom—often inspired by the students he teaches and the people he serves. He also runs a math-focused YouTube channel, where some of the proceeds support scholarships for underprivileged students in the Philippines.
