Dr. Robin McGee is a registered clinical psychologist who has worked in health and education for over 30 years. Her award-winning book The Cancer Olympics describes her fight for medical justice and fair chemotherapy policy after serious medical negligence. For her advocacy work in cancer care and patient safety, she was decorated with the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers by the Governor-General of Canada. Also, she has been awarded the Canadian Cancer Society’s highest honour, the National Medal of Courage. Proceeds of her book go to cancer support programs.
