Mac MacKenna spent twenty years of his adult life running toward danger to save others during his service in the U.S. Air Force special operations. But at Brookfield Academy, the threat isn’t wearing a uniform or carrying a weapon.

Someone hurts your child. What would you do? It’s an uncomfortable question—and the heart of Unknown Alliance. A father wants answers. He wants to protect his daughter. And for reasons of his own, he doesn’t want the police involved.

In Unknown Event, someone within the world of Blackstone Academy has murderous intent. The students aren’t the target of a killer’s obsession. They are something perhaps even more chilling—innocent victims caught in the crosshairs of someone with an agenda.

Revenge is frightening, but when you don’t know who wants it, it’s terrifying. A methodical killer has come to Brookfield. A retired law enforcement officer is dead. There’s somewhere near Perla Lake who is patiently carrying out a plan of revenge—and Mac MacKenna doesn’t yet know he’s connected.
