Roberta Mussato is an award-winning Italian author, Master Life Coach, NLP Practitioner, conference interpreter and speaker. Her autobiographical contents blend solo female travel, humour and self-discovery. She is the author of "Universe, I Trust You: A Month in Sri Lanka", originally written in Italian as "Universo, mi affido a te – Un mese in Sri Lanka".

Born near Treviso, in Italy, Roberta has loved animals, writing and languages since childhood. She started keeping a diary when she was eight yrs old and at nine she wrote a little book about her dog Briciola (Crumb), probably the least-read book in the world: her mum is the only confirmed reader.

After graduating in conference interpreting in English and Russian in Forlì in 2002, she spent eighteen years in London. In 2024, she (sort of) moved back to the Treviso area.

Her first book recounts a solo journey through Sri Lanka, South India and Nepal, during which she chose not to plan anything and instead trust the flow of life. Through adventures, encounters and unexpected twists, she weaves together humour, spiritual insights, personal growth and practical travel tips.

The journey inspired her to become a Master Life Coach and NLP Practitioner. Today, she works internationally, helping people overcome fears, get unstuck and develop an abundance mindset.

Her book came second in the Spring 2023 The BookFest Awards and was featured on the Nasdaq billboard in Times Square, New York, on 20 June of the same year.

Roberta continues to work as an interpreter and voice-over artist, but now focuses mainly on coaching and writing her second book, set in India and expected in early 2027.

She keeps trusting the Universe, occasionally hugs trees (not always with their consent) and, at the time of writing, her hair is looking presentable.
