Roberta Grieve has always enjoyed writing from a very early age, telling stories and writing plays for her younger siblings. She was a newspaper reporter on local papers for many years, then went into the library service. After 22 years of dealing with other people's books early retirement gave her the opportunity to start writing her own books. She has now published a total of 26 novels and novellas, mostly historical romances. Her latest novel 'The Rector's Daughter' was inspired by move to a small village in Norfolk. She is currently at work on another Norfolk novel. She enjoys doing historical research and is mainly interested in the Victorian and Edwardian periods.
