Science fiction has been a passion of mine since the age of 9, and has been the magnet that draws me to things yet to come. Through the years I have fostered a soft spot for animals, and a distaste for mistreatment of others, especially those that cannot defend themselves. I grew up in a medium sized city, Wilmington, NC, but found other states to call home on various occasions. This exposed me to a variety of people that for one reason or another always seemed to induce me to return to my native North Carolina. This state is where I acquired an affinity for fly fishing, and the mountains have a continuous draw for me, calling for me to live there in my sunset years. Writing is something that has fascinated me for over fifty years, and with the encouragement of my wife, friends and family has become a reality.
