Robbi Hartford is an author for Allnurses.com, the largest online nursing community, under the user name RobbiRN. Her stated purpose there is to push back against the forces that assail common sense in the workplace. She continues working as an RN with nearly twenty-five years of ER experience. Her first book, "Anonymous Complaint," which was inspired by actual events, quietly targets risks posed by government overreach, taking a few potshots at "government's clumsy, misdirected regulation of healthcare." It has been well-reviewed on Amazon and goodreads. "ADWON: A Day Without Nurses," released in February of 2019, portrays a provocative vigilante justice plot to fix our inequitable healthcare system. The fictionalized story is set seventeen months from present day, but early reviewers have noted the scenarios are very real. The story is based on decades of failure and current trends. Robbi explains: "The underlying premise, that A Day Without Nurses is even conceivable, is intentionally disturbing. Nurses see every angle of healthcare, and, just a gentle reminder from the most trusted profession, the Nation's lives are in our hands."
