Rick was born on October 24, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After beginning his writing career as a singer/songwriter and musician in a few bands, story telling became his passion. Taking inspiration from writers like Bob Mayer, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Dan Brown, and Jonathan Maberry, he formed his thoughts into words. Now, a top 25 author known for his "Eternal Hunger Saga", he continues to work on new novels crossing multiple genres. He is also the cofounder of sCrypt Publishing (www.scryptcomics.com), was awarded "Best opening lines of a novel" in 2019, and named "Most Versatile Local Author" in Philly Current Magazine's PC Picks 2017 issue. In addition to writing he is cohost to a web series on YouTube called "Think, Sip, Write", and works closely with his wife (Roberta Pipito of Homemade Delish) who is a chef, producer, contributor for national and local television shows, as well as writer for various other magazines and publications.
