Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised on Long Island, Rick Laban has always had a passion for both technology and music. After earning a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Music from Hofstra University, he spent many years working as a Computer Systems Analyst while simultaneously pursuing his love for music as a lifelong semi-professional musician in rock bands. Now residing in Southern Florida, Rick has turned his attention to writing, combining a love of storytelling with a deep appreciation for history and adventure. This book, his first novel about Amelia Earhart reflects his dedication to crafting a compelling, realistic narrative while offering a unique revisionary perspective on what might have been.
