"I wrote The Universal Management Principle Workbook for two reasons.

One, I've never forgotten one of my direct reports telling me, 'You're the best boss I ever worked for; you ought to write a book about motivation,' and

Two, when I was teaching Organizational Behavior at Northeastern, a colleague mentioned the need for a book that explains to managers proven motivational techniques from the research literature.

The Universal Management Principle Workbook meets both requirements."
