Rebecca Dale is an award-winning UK dark romance author and creator of the Reckoning Universe.

Known for emotionally intense stories that blend dark romance with psychological suspense, Rebecca writes obsession, power, morally questionable characters, and relationships where the line between protection and possession is rarely clear.

Her debut novel, The Fall of Summer, introduced readers to the small town of Rosefield, Montana, and began The Reckoning Duet, followed by The Ashes of Summer. Together, the books explore obsession, trauma, survival, desire, and the consequences of loving someone who might just be as dangerous as the people they’re trying to protect you from.

In 2026, Rebecca became a two-time Book Bonanza Readers’ Choice Award winner, recognising her work and growing readership within the romance community.

Rebecca continues to expand the Reckoning Universe with interconnected stories featuring complicated characters, dangerous relationships, and the kind of morally questionable decisions that probably shouldn’t feel quite as romantic as they do.

When she isn’t writing, Rebecca can usually be found plotting her next fictional disaster from her home in Yorkshire, England.
