Writing for readers like you. I write the kind of books I love reading on holiday. They're intriguing, sometimes funny, often dark and always entertaining. My characters could be me or you. They live ordinary lives, have ordinary families and have ordinary jobs, but they experience extraordinary things. I write about death, life, and the afterlife. I bring my experiences of raising three children, navigating divorce, and running businesses to my work. Originally from Manchester, I've lived in Edinburgh for over thirty years. I have two dogs and a husband. I have written all my life, but it's only in the past few years that I've been able to focus on what I love doing best: writing for people like you.
