With an extensive career devoted to establishing frameworks that engage and empower adolescent learners, ReLeah Cossett Lent is an accomplished author and educator. A longtime secondary teacher, ReLeah spent several years at the University of Central Florida providing statewide literacy professional development. Now a national consultant, she speaks and writes about adolescent literacy issues. She has received intellectual freedom awards from the American Library Association and the National Council of Teachers of English, and was the recipient of the PEN/Newman's Own First Amendment Award in 1999.
