Randy Stollar is a Las Vegas-based author whose work is inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of the American Southwest. A lifelong animal enthusiast, he brings the Mojave Desert vividly to life through storytelling that blends adventure, ecology, and heart. His debut novel, The Secret of Tu'ku's Peak: A Tortoise Odyssey, follows a young desert tortoise on an epic journey across a harsh and beautiful desert, exploring themes of courage, survival, and friendship. When he's not writing, Randy enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with his animals—including two desert tortoises, dogs, cats, and koi fish—experiences that deeply influence his storytelling.
