I’m Rachel Valencourt, an award-winning author who believes stories can heal, connect us, and help make sense of the past. I write emotionally rich family sagas filled with nostalgia, heart, and characters who feel like old friends. After years in the travel industry, I traded my wings for a keyboard and never looked back. My debut novel, Every Night Has a Dawn, was a finalist in the American Writing Awards and won the Regal Summit Award for Historical Fiction. I’m drawn to stories about resilience, love, and the powerful moments that shape women across generations. I live in California wine country with my British husband, our two teenage daughters, and Saffy, our feisty six-toed cat, who firmly believes she is in charge.
