Rachel A. Ochieng, born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, moved to the United States as an adult to pursue her studies. She graduated from Colorado Christian University and was a proud member of the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society (CSI) - Kappa Chi Upsilon Chapter at CCU. When Rachel isn’t working with clients, she enjoys spending time with her family and her cat, Tramp, who believes he’s the ruler of the universe. A passionate vlogger and blogger, Rachel’s love for Jesus slightly edges out her love for Nigerian cuisine. She considers herself a deeply loved daughter of the King. As a licensed professional counselor in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, she founded a faith-based online private practice, offering general mental health services to individuals and families. Rachel cherishes being a wife and mother to two inspiring children, a sister, and an aunt who adores her nieces and nephews. She values family time and takes pride in serving her community, including her role on her Homeowners’ Association Board. Rachel is deeply connected to her church family and finds strength and purpose in her women’s Bible study, where she actively participates and grows in her faith.
