"I TRANSFORM FICTION INTO NEWS" Frankly, as an author of thrillers, my goal has always been to convey to the reader the realism of a true investigation. I want my readers to understand how difficult it is, in reality, to begin and complete a complex investigation, and to understand what the protagonists of the story really think, how they act, and how much they suffer. Because, after a life spent in the Italian State Police, I've learned that reality is often more disturbing than any fantasy. So I write about what I know: investigations, crimes, family tragedies, truths hidden behind appearances. I write about emotions, about suffering. I take the reader into a world that is ignorant, but that exists and burns, a world where people also cry. In my stories I try to infuse things like honesty, emotion, loyalty, courage... and, when necessary, even a little cunning. And remember: evil often wears unsuspecting and false masks.
