Philip Norman

Philip Norman is an English novelist, biographer, journalist and playwright. At the end of the 1960s, as a correspondent for The Sunday Times, he was assigned to investigate and report on the breakup of Beatles' own business, Apple Corps. Norman is the author of Shout! The Beatles in Their Generation, John Lennon: The Life and biographies of Buddy Holly, The Rolling Stones and Elton John. Norman was one of Granta's 1983 best young writers and has published six works of fiction and two plays: The Man That Got Away and Words of Love.
