Phil Truman is a native Oklahoman who has spent a lifetime collecting the history, characters, legends, and tall tales of his home state—and occasionally making up a few of his own.
A graduate of the University of Tulsa, Phil is a Vietnam-era U.S. Army veteran and former teacher, coach, and businessman. He is the author of six novels set in Oklahoma and Indian Territory, ranging across historical Westerns, mystery, and adventure. His fascination with Oklahoma history—and with the lawmen, outlaws, Native peoples, settlers, soldiers, and assorted scoundrels who populated it—frequently finds its way into his fiction.
