Peter Maerkert was born in Germany. He grew up in Bochum, the town of starlight express and Grönemeyer. He lives there as well and worked as a social worker in prison and as a probation officer. He uses his experience in his judicial crimes, which plays between JVA, drugs, abuse, murder and in which he traces the background of crime and guilt.
