Peter Hereld – Author and Media Creator from Hildesheim Peter Hereld, born in 1963 in Hildesheim, is a German author and media producer. After completing commercial training and spending several years self-employed, he increasingly turned toward creative work. His literary works range from historical novels to crime stories, thrillers, and socially critical narratives. He became known with his debut novel Das Geheimnis des Goldmachers (Gmeiner Verlag, 2010), a historical novel about alchemy, power, and greed. This was followed by titles such as Die Braut des Silberfinders, Des Kaisers neue Braut, Der Belarus-Deal, and Hashtag – Eine Nachricht für dich. Hereld’s style is characterized by meticulous research, realistic characters, and a strong connection to his home region. His themes often touch on moral and social issues. In addition to his writing, Peter Hereld is involved in the regional literary scene, including as a member of the “Hildesheim Authors.” Through readings, interviews, and media appearances, he regularly offers insights into his work and his perspective on modern storytelling.
