Pedro Martí (Almansa, 1988) is a teacher specialized in English language instruction and is the author of the crime fiction duology featuring Inspector Giralt: La pieza invisible and Donde lloran los demonios (Ediciones Dokusou), the latter a finalist for the III Cartagena Negra Award and winner of the 2018 Best Spanish Crime Novel Prize awarded by the blog El búho entre libros. He has participated as a speaker and moderator in several editions of Cartagena Negra, Alblackcete, and Castelló Negre, as well as in various film and literature cycles at the Faculty of Criminology of the University of Murcia. He is a weekly contributor to the radio program El día menos pensado on Metropolitan Radio, where he shares his literary recommendations. La mala hija (Destino, 2025) is his most recent and most ambitious novel.
