Born in Leeds, currently living in Huddersfield, Paula Acton decided, when she turned forty, to stop dreaming about writing and do it. Her tagline ‘Where Love Lives & Darkness Dwells’ sums up her writing. While she enjoys experimenting with genre, each story is created in the grey areas where there is no black and white, no definitive good and evil. In her home life she divides her time between children, grandchildren and pets. Her hobbies include reading, making a mess with resin, and going to visit the horse she recently rehomed to a riding school. If she ever wins the lottery, she will buy a farm and use it to rescue old horses to give them a loving home for their final years. It will also double as a writing retreat for her friends in the Indie Author community.
