Paul Read is the author of The Art Teacher and Blame, both published by Legend Press. He has drunk too much coffee at several inner city schools during his time as an Art and English teacher, both in England and Italy, where he currently lives with his partner and two children. He received a distinction in creative writing for his MA at City University London and has been a bookseller, ice cream van driver and a voice-over artist in his time. The Art Teacher has been praised by Publishers Weekly ('an impressive feat... Read delivers [the thrills] often and well') and The Daily Mail ('a fast-paced and gritty read') amongst other respected publications. He talks about himself in the third person.
