Paul is a Social History enthusiast who studied at grammar school in Essex in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He has been writing books since 2018 having finished his career as a graphic designer. He writes under three distinct pen names Paul A Leverell, Lee Revell and Adrian Paul. Each pen name writes in a unique style and explores different aspects of British history. Written under the pen name Paul A Leverell The Britain in the 20th Century series offers readers an engaging, fast paced exploration of social history, diving into the major themes and shifts that shaped Britain over the 20th century. Each of the 4 books covers a wide array of subjects, including Politics, Sport, Culture, Royalty, War, News Headlines, Science, Engineering, and Art & Design, among others. Also written under the pen name Paul A Leverell the family saga A Century in East London with the Cooper Family is Paul’s first step into the world of historical fiction. Follow the Cooper family as they live through the changing tides of the 20th century. Each book covers the lives, loves trials and tribulations of the family as they navigate through an ever changing world.
