Patricia Wilson is a best selling author of historical, wartime fiction set in the Greek islands. Her emotional, duel timeline, family sagas follow ordinary women in extraordinary circumstances and watch them grow into amazing people. Her novels are perfect for fans of Santa Montefiore and Lucinda Riley. They celebrate the strong ties between Greece and the UK, and are famous for their emotional depth and uplifting charm.

Patricia is English, born on the Wirral, Cheshire, but she has travelled the Greek islands for over thirty years, observing the Greek way of life and absorbing the culture. She learned the Greek language, Greek dancing and cookery, and enriched her love for poetry, photography, and painting. It was only a matter of time before she started writing.

In a remote mountain village on the island of Crete, while helping to plant strawberries, she dug up a rusted machine gun. After taking the weapon to the local kafenio, the locals told her the terrible history behind it. She was writing this sorry tale when the elderly village women came to tell her their own personal accounts of those heart-breaking events. After investigating further, she wrote ISLAND of SECRETS, a family saga based on real events that took place in that small village, in September 1943. In a matter of weeks, ISLAND of SECRETS sold six figures in Europe and became a number one Amazon best seller. Island of Secrets was published in five languages.

On the island of Rhodes, another story hit the local headlines and got Patricia's investigative juices flowing. Twelve months later, Villa of Secrets became another great success, reaching the Sunday Times Top 15 Novels best seller list.

The researching and writing continued, producing a new Greek island novel each year, until 2024. Unfortunately Patricia's husband became very ill and she was unable to concentrate on her writing, but at the end of that year, with the help of her new agent, Clare Combes from the Liverpool Literary Agency, she got back on track and wrote two new novels. Her first novel, THE ISLANDER'S DAUGHTER, won her a THREE BOOK CONTRACT with Boldwood Books. The Islander's Daughter became available on the 6th April, and is inspired by a true story coming from the beautiful Greek island of Milos.
Patricia's next novel will come out in October, perfect for the Christmas market. Watch this space for more news about Patricia's novel, BENEATH A GREEK SKY.

Patricia said, 'I’m thrilled when a reader tells me she enjoys my novels, particularly if she leaves a review on Amazon. After all, I spend a whole year researching and writing for my audience, it's good to know I haven't wasted my efforts. Best wishes, Patricia.'
