Pamela Smith Hill is the award-winning author and editor of three books on Laura Ingalls Wilder including "Laura Ingalls Wilder: A Writer's Life," "Pioneer Girl: The Annotated Autobiography," and "Too Good to Be Altogether Lost: Rediscovering Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House Books." She has also published three novels for young adults: "Ghost Horses," "The Last Grail Keeper," and" A Voice from the Border." She has taught creative and professional writing at universities in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado, as well as courses on Laura Ingalls Wilder through Missouri State University. She grew up forty miles from Rocky Ridge Farm, where Wilder wrote the Little House books, and launched her writing career not far from De Smet, where the Ingalls family settled. She now lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
