Orion is an Elder in traditional Craft, a Southern and Appalachian Conjure man; a carrier, collector, writer, and caster of Spoken Charms, a Faery Seer, and a self-styled "Eco-Magical Activist". Born with the veil, he has been stepped in the spirit world since he was born; and, magic and the sacredness of nature are his spiritual heartbeat. He founded and directs the "House of Brigh" Comprehensive Faery Seership Apprenticeship Program, the Ancestral Healers training in the River of Blood technique, and training sessions in folkloric-based Faery Healing and Magic practices. He was a co-founder of the annual Folk Magic Festival in New Orleans and the "Conjure-Craft Symposium". He is a teacher of the witchcraft, folk magic, and Veil (second-sight) practices and lore of his birth culture in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia; and, of his Elders and Mentors later in life and of material co-developed with his Spirit-Wife, Brigh. He resides in Maryland with his beloved partner, two black cats, a 20-year-old mandragora plant, and enough books and stones to build a castle.
