I founded Macktez, an IT consulting firm that has worked with innovative companies solving technology challenges for over twenty-five years. The work has taught me that good technology is only half the equation. The other half is understanding what people actually need and building organizations that can deliver on that vision. Beyond Macktez, I’m drawn to leadership roles in cultural institutions. I serve as board president of UnionDocs, a center for documentary art that generates and shares big ideas through screenings, panels, discussions, and collaborative studio programs. I’m also on the board of The Victorian Web, the longest running website about Victorian arts and culture on he internet.
