Nikki Mark is the founder and president of the TM23 Foundation, which builds athletic fields in memory of her eldest son, Tommy, who unexpectedly passed away at 12 in 2018. The foundation has raised over 2.6 million dollars to create spaces that brighten the world with more play. Her memoir Tommy’s Field is praised by actress Laura Dern as “a gift to a world in need of healing.” Nikki is also the author of the children’s books Mommy Brings Home the Bacon, Mommy’s Got a Bun in the Oven, and MightyMom. Proceeds are donated to the TM23 Foundation. Nikki’s writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Oprah Daily, TODAY, and elsewhere.
