Nicki Egan is a lifelong journalist turned author with a passion for investigative journalism. She spent 14 years at the Philadelphia Daily News, doing investigative stories on politics then crime and criminal justice while also getting her master's in criminal justice at Temple University. When the news of Andrea Constand's drugging and sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby broke in January 2005, she began digging into the claims, breaking story after story on the scandal. From there she went to work for People magazine, becoming a senior writer covering crime and human interest and continued covering the Cosby scandal when it bubbled up again in October 2014. She broke the news of his arrest on December 30 2015. She left People in June 2017 and published her first book, CHASING COSBY, in April 2019 and hosted and executive produced a podcast based on the book, which debuted in January 2020. Her second book, VICTIM F, which she coauthored with the subjects of the book, came out in June 2021. She is currently working on her third book.
