Born in Paris in 1980, Nicolas Digard is the author of the first seven novels of the Frigiel & Fluffy (Slalom) youth saga, which sold more than 500,000 copies. His latest children's book, The Wolf’s Secret, co-written with Myriam Dahman and published by Orchad Books, won the Foyles Children's book of the year 2020 award. Nicolas began writing as a screenwriter for animated series (more than 60 episodes to his credit) before starting his literary career with the historical novel Les Loups De Sherwood published in 2014 by Plon. He is also the author of several children's books and comics: Slurp! (Glénat), Le Manchot Qui Avait Marre D'être Pris Pour Un Pingouin (Nathan), les Orangers de Versailles (Bayard). At the moment, Nicolas is working on the development of an animated series and a historical series for television, as well as working on his second historical novel.
