Nicola Schmidt is a mother of two, bestselling author, has a master's degree in social sciences, is a trained science journalist, coach, and founder and managing director of the artgerecht project. She is a member of the World Association for Infant Mental Health (WAIMH) as well as the Babyfreundlich.org initiative and works as a speaker for large companies as well as for the German Red Cross, the Kinderschutzbund and the Frühen Hilfen. She has been researching, writing and teaching what is "species-appropriate" for human babies and toddlers since 2008. She designs and leads camps as well as training and education for educational professionals through the Artgerecht Project. She handles the social media channels and is on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Nicola is a sought-after author for publishers and trade magazines. With her bestsellers.
