Nick Ruhmann is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and ongoing student of lean thinking, the Toyota Production System, and enterprise operational excellence. He currently serves as Director of DwyerOmega Business Systems, where he leads business system development, continuous improvement, and operational transformation across the organization. Prior to joining DwyerOmega, Nick served as a Principal Master Black Belt at Compassion International, where he led enterprise improvement efforts focused on operational excellence, process capability, analytics, and organizational effectiveness. He also previously led the enterprise-wide deployment of an Operational Excellence culture at National Flood Services, a leading flood insurance solutions provider and former division of Aon plc and later PEAK6 Investments. From 2010 to 2012, Nick worked in the medical device industry with BD Medical, leading Continuous Improvement within the Diabetes Care division. He spent the bulk of his earlier career with Tenneco Inc., a major Tier I automotive supplier serving nearly every global OEM, including Toyota. Across his career, Nick has held both functional and leadership roles in Research & Development, Product Engineering, Process Excellence, Operations, Process Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, analytics, and enterprise transformation.
