Nick Katleman is a memoirist and novelist based in Los Angeles. Katleman obtained a degree in Creative Writing from the University of Washington, studying with writers and poets including Richard Kenney, David Shields, Rupert Wallis, David Guterson, Heather McHugh, and Linda Bierds. He spent the early years of his career ghostwriting memoirs and penning screenplays for companies such as Scott Free Productions and Hasbro.

In 2017, Katleman authored the story of his grandfather Harris Katleman, a renowned television executive who rose to become the President of MGM Television and Twentieth Century Fox.
