Nicholas Blaga has been writing fiction since childhood and completed a novella his senior year of high school. He became an Elvis fan while watching Blue Hawaii when his parents defected from totalitarian Romania in the early 1980s. Astonished over the fact no one had ever attempted an historical fiction project to chronicle Presley's pre-fame-and-fortune years, he set about working on a trilogy of novels. Before Graceland: A Novel of Elvis Presley's Childhood is Book I of the series. Mr. Blaga works as a librarian in academia and resides in Florida with his wife and cats.
