Nella Coiro is an author, a poet, a musician, and she has worked as a mental health professional. She has overcome much adversity, struggles, and serious medical challenges in her life, from growing up in a toxic family, to dealing with kidney failure. After six years on dialysis, she recently received a life changing kidney transplant.

Her goals include inspiring her readers and encouraging them to find their resilience and inner strength, as well as identifying life lessons that they might have learned through adversity.

Aside from writing, she enjoys playing the guitar and painting, She also loves animals, especially dogs. Nella has been happily married for many years, and lives with her husband, Ken, and their rescue dog, Logan.
