Natalie Gonzalez grew up in sunny Carlsbad, CA. Pale legged and frizzy haired, she could always be found with her nose in a book or a pen in her hand. She studied writing and cultural studies at Pratt Institute, and obtained a Sociology degree from Texas Christian University. Natalie currently resides in Burleson, TX with her husband Michael, son Asher, and daughter Olivia, living the simple suburban dream (minivan included). The School Zone Mentality is her first book.
